The Moledo cheese is a soft cheese, made with pasteurized cow milk and traditionally manufactured.
The inspiration for the name Moledo comes from the place where CALF is built and where a reed mill is found.
Available in units of approximately 500 g
In Portugal, this Soft Cheese is named “Queijo Prato” and its name comes from its shape… in the shape of a dish. As a rule, these are semi-hard cured cheeses made from pasteurized cow's milk. To eat sliced, cubed or as you prefer, our range of dish cheeses is varied, being produced on the islands of Faial and São Miguel.
